This is such a lovely place to stay! My husband and I stayed in early April, before the tourist season had started, there were plenty of shops and tavernas open but it was quiet with a very peaceful atmosphere. The apartment is delightful, charmingly designed with vintage furniture and all the amenities you could wish for. The terrace wraps round the apartment, with sun all day and the most wonderful view down the hillside to the sea and the mainland beyond. The apartment is at the top of a steep hillside, so a car is useful, but not essential, and parking is easy. There is a supermarket and tavernas in walking distance but carrying your purchases up the hill is hard work. With a car you can explore the island easily and cross to and from the mainland to visit Epidavros or take ferries to other islands. Poros is quieter and more traditional then Hydra. We were met at the local supermarket by Tonia's parents guided us in and showed us around and were most helpful and kind.

Als je een prachtig huis zoekt, met veel privacy, geweldig terras, met een uitzicht waar je niet op uitgekeken raakt, zoek niet verder! Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren er tijdens het noodweer en hebben vanaf het terras, onder het waterdichte zonnescherm, 2 avonden naar de regen en onweer gekeken, thuis gekookt. Ook gezellig! Beneden in het dorpje leuke restaurantjes. Alles is dichtbij, je hebt wel een auto nodig. We hopen hier zeker nog eens terug te komen!! De ouders van Tonia zijn erg lief en brachten ons af en toe lekkere dingetjes. Dus twijfel niet …. Je krijgt er geen spijt van!!

Extremely generous and kind hosts. Tonia’s parents were always looking out for us and were extremely helpful (whilst not intrusive). We loved our stay and recommend it to anyone looking for an escape with a magical view.

An extraordinary view of the sea and the village from the large veranda. It is the highest house on the hill, surrounded by a meticulously tended gardens full of flowers by Tonia's parents who live below. Hardly noticed they were there. It's a very special place.

Tonia's parents let us in and showed us around. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful - including having made some homemade marmalade and picked some lavender from their beautiful garden. We were warned it's up a steep hill - and that was very true/accurate so it needs to be for the fit...but we were very happy with that. The property has gorgeous views across the harbour and sea and a lovely wrap around balcony.

Es war alles da, was man in der Küche benötigt, sogar ein Glas selbstgemachte Orangenmarmelade aus dem Garten.
Es empfiehlt sich mit einem kleinen Auto anzureisen, da die Zufahrtstrasse sehr steil und eng ist.

Tonia and her parents were the most attentive, kind and welcoming hosts. The house has one of the best views on the island with easy access to the beach and all the amenities. Will be our go to place at Poros!

We had a wonderful time :)
The house is absolutely perfect especially if you are staying for a long time. The kitchen is fully equipped. Big bathrooms and 2 large bedrooms. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! And you are can even walk to Askeli beach.
We would definitely recommend our family and friends to visit!

Absolute perfection. The house and view completely exceeded our expectations in every way. Tonia was an excellent host and her charming parents were so helpful, and remained on-hand while providing complete privacy. Yep, the hill is steep (!) but this means you have no street noise and seriously the best view in town. A handy little supermarket, excellent bakery, and friendly scooter hire are very close by - highly recommend getting a scooter or similar. We look forward to staying again. Cannot recommend enough!

Great place with a beautiful view. The villa was very clean, situated in a very quiet part of Poros.

This house was spectacular in every way. You have a commanding view of Askeli, Poros and the mainland from the wrap around terrace.
You never really want to venture out. There’s so much to offer in the area you will leave, but you can’t wait to get back. Tonia is always available and her parents live downstairs whom you will only see when they are taking care of the incredible garden, should you need anything. The house being at the top of the hill is a steep winding road but you get used to it. The house is spacious, comfortable and well stocked. We loved it and can’t wait to come back

We loved everything about the villa - all of its facilities, provisions and of course the amazing view, which we adored every time. We felt like we were at home from the moment we arrived till the time we had to leave and cared for it like it was our own.

This was our fifth time in Poros and yet the best. We are a couple and stayed for 11 nights. Villa Thea is located at the top of the hill in Askeli village with an exceptional view to the bay and located in a beautiful garden. The villa is fully equipped and very comfortable. The hosts were very kind. Welcomed us with wine water and home made jam. Be advised that for the first time better ask the host to show you the way because google Maps gives wrong directions and the road is very steep. We will come back again.

Tonia’s hospitality was outstanding and exceeded our expectations! The house has an amazing view where you can relax and have panoramic views of Poros and the mainland. I loved the decoration and the amenities that the house is offering. Everything was clean and tidy. Tonia’s parents hospitality was very pleasant. They are very kind and caring people who were always checking with us if we enjoyed our stay and were ready to help with advices.
The house itself is incredibly cozy and beautiful and the most pleasant part of it is the sea view from the terrace – it is breathtaking. We were so happy to enjoy this incredible view during all days of our stay. The only issue is the road, even though we’ve been informed in advance how difficult the road is and that the house is located on the hill, we’ haven’t imagined that is would be so not easy, so each time we were driving to/from the house we almost stopped breathing. But I guess if the house was not located on such big hill , we would not have gotten such a beautiful view. Still for us the road the house was the biggest challenge .
