• Poros town is a lovingly preserved historical little town with its buildings protected by cultural heritage laws. In the town there are many neoclassical buildings of dazzling beauty and is built on a hillside. An important landmark is the Clock Tower, built in 1927, and it stands on a hill on the island and is visible from everywhere.

• The Archaeological Museum in the center of townhouses has finds from the sacred temple of Poseidon, the ancient Trizina and other archaeological sites around Poros.

• In the northern part of the island are the ruins of the Temple Poseidon who investigators believe it was built around 520 BC The dimensions of the temple, which is Doric, is 27.4 × 14.4 m. and consists of six columns widthwise and twelve along. Here poisoned with hemlock the orator Demosthenes, having escaped from the governor of Macedonia Antipater.

• Poros was the site of the first naval base in modern Greece, founded in 1827 during the Greek Revolution. The space is still used by the Navy as a training center recruits.

• Mpourtzi is a small island that was built around 1828 in area where the old church of Agios Konstantinos. This island had donated to the monastery resources before 1770 Anthony surfer. Opposite is the famous Lemon Groves, an area with lots of water, lemon and watermills. There are scattered taverns, has panoramic views and inspire great literature.

• Boat excursions: take a lovely ride with Kaiki-boats (traditional motor boats) to one of the tiny, uninhabited islands that surround Poros, or to romantic Aliki beach at the base of the famous "lemon-woods" on the mainland.

• Excursions to the famous archeological sights of Mycene, Tyrins, Tolon, Argos, Epidaurus as well as beautiful Nafpliο, the first capital city of the liberated Greece.

• Excursions by hydrofoil or ferryboat to the well known islands of Hydra or Spetses.

• Reservation of theatre and concert tickets for the summer festival at the famous Epidaurus theater. The Festival is held June to September and includes performances of antique Greek tragedies (in modern Greek language) as well as concerts of classical music and Greek folklore.
