how to get to Poros island

By Ferry: There is at least one daily departure from the port of Piraeus . The journey time is 2.5 hours.

By Flying Dolphin or Flying Cat: The speed boats depart from the port of Piraeus 4-5 times daily and the journey takes one hour.

By car: You can reach Poros and drive with your car. The route from Athens to Galata takes about 2.5 hours. There is a ferry boat from Galatas to Poros every 20' (high season).
how to get to Poros Thea Villa
Arriving at the port of Poros you follow the road to ASKELI. You know you have reached ASKELI the moment you see GOLDEN VIEW hotel at your right.
Follow the sea-side road for about 400m and, after you see a small shop (kiosk) at the right, turn left to the narrow street (in the corner there is a taverna named KOLONA and a hotel named Aegeo).
At the first crossroad turn left, you pass by a “rent motorbike” store at your left, and then you see KRITIKOS supermarket. Turn left again and then, immediately, right. You will see "Aegean Villas" at your right hand.
Keep following the main road that takes you up to the hill.
Keep climbing up, keeping left.

Advice: Use 1st gear when driving the car because the road is rather steep.
Follow the main road till its end! You will see a big dark green iron door in front of you. This is Poros TheaVilla!

The overall distance from the port of Poros to the house should not take you longer than 10’ - 15’.
In case you take a taxi, ask the driver to get you at “Askeli, Kastriotis (our family name) house”.
